Au Fil des Torrents
In 2024, Serena Finon, an 18-year-old from Reunion, is flying to France after a first heartbreak. In Cauterets, in the Pyrenees, she meets Lilas Ferretti, a bipolar writer accused of murdering her husband.
Even if her alibi seems to exonerate her, Marc Nectoux, the detective who investigates the case, still suspects her. The day Serena witnesses the murder of her new fiancé, her mother reveals to her the existence of a curse, which the young woman refuses to believe. Her grandmother is said to have made a pact with the devil, which seems to condemn her life and that of all the women in her family.
